Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is a special day. Happy BIG Birthday wishes Daddy Jim! Here's a couple of cute shots of the boys on the couch this morning just relaxin'.

I can't believe Henry has never been in a swing until now. Last weekend, we went out to tend the garden and afterward some playing in the new playground. Check out this amazing setup!

New visitors

We installed our new (2nd Anniversary,Thanks Dody!) bird feeder last weekend and have enjoyed spotting a few new visitors! Our pets, Max and Elvis, seem the most impressed with the new activity. I thought maybe just maybe we might have a spot that the squirrels couldn't get to... but yes, they have joined in the fun too. I wouldn't mind them visiting except for the fact that they have no self control. They don't leave any for the birdies!

Gardens, Gardens, Gardens!

We have been so very busy this last month or two diggin' in the dirt. Jim and I put in gardens here in front of the house. Jim did an amazing job creating a xeriscaped natural area and we also put in a small herb garden for me!

If that wasn't enough.... we decided to join in the "small truck farm" out at the ranch. Here's Jim planting our tomato plants.

We put in 4 different heirloom tomatoes, tomatillos, red bell peppers, banana peppers, green beans and cucumbers.
